Concert Outing

This message is for those of you who especially enjoy gospel music! I attended a recording at John P. Kee's church a couple weeks ago and he announced that my favorite young adult choir, "J.J. Hairston and Youthful Praise" will be in concert on Sunday, August 23, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. I've attached a link to their website below. Great music for those who love gospel choirs! This group is FIYA!!! Tickets are $10 in advance and at the door. You may purchase them at New Life Fellowship Center (Stellar Award Winner, Pastor John P. Kee's church).

Singles Day at Ephesus SDA in Gastonia, NC

"Got Books?" Service Project

Want to share your old inspirational books as a ministry to others? How about past Sabbath School lessons, Ellen G. White books, Review and Herald books, devotionals or maybe even Bibles? As long as it's in good condition, we'd love to have it. Now is the time to start collecting your books as if you are "spring cleaning." The goal of this project is to distribute as many inspirational materials to the community as possible so that everyone can taste and see that the Lord is good!

The "community" includes any of the following: neighbors, coworkers, friends, family, former church members, students or ANYONE who could use them.

This service project will be ongoing and will begin April 5, 2009 so please begin distributing your books to any of the above mentioned people and share your testimony at our next meeting (TBA).

Christian Singles Mixer

Upcoming Events: On Saturday, February 14, 2009 we will host a Christian Singles Mixer for single adults in the area.  The mixer will consist of light refreshments, games and social activities. Come ready to mingle with your brothers and sisters in Christ.  Bring a friend, your favorite games and a positive spirit.  You'll definitely have a great time : )  Hope to see you there!
